St. Johns Town Center

One of the many benefits of taking time off to focus on oneself is the opportunity to treat oneself to a day of physical and mental indulgence. If you want to be at the top of the priority list, the St. Johns Town Center in Jacksonville, FL is a great choice. St. Johns is roughly 10 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and is located to the southeast of Jacksonville’s downtown. The outdoor mall features 150 shops and eateries, and its affluent air is largely due to the presence of designer names.

Located in south-east Jacksonville, Florida, the St. Johns Town Center is a high-end [citation needed] super-regional open-air mall. On its grand opening day of March 18, 2005, it had 167 stores, many of which were first-timers in the Jacksonville market. The University of North Florida campus is located directly across I-295 from the 51.2-acre shopping center at the interchange of J. Turner Butler Boulevard and the Interstate 295 East Beltway.

In October 2007, a 228,000-square-foot addition was unveiled to the public. About 40 shops and 4 eateries are located there. Aldo, Barnes & Noble, Brooks Brothers, Clarks, Coach, Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, MAC Cosmetics, Pottery Barn, Swarovski, Talbots, Tommy Bahama, Urban Outfitters, and West Elm are just some of the retailers who have signed on as tenants for the new space. True Religion, Kate Spade, The Capital Grille, and J. Alexander’s all opened their doors to the public that same year (2008).

Though Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performed at the grand opening of the Microsoft Store in St. Johns Town Center in November 2013, the store will be closing at the end of 2020. Nordstrom established its first Florida location in Northeast Florida’s St. Johns Town Center in October 2014. In addition to Arhaus, eight other boutiques were scheduled to debut two days earlier.

As part of the town’s ongoing development, condominiums were built behind the St. Johns Town Center in 2006. Since the mall’s opening, more hotels and flats have been constructed in the area. There have been numerous new commercial developments in the area since it first opened (including a Sprouts Farmers Market, TopGolf facility, and an IKEA store within a mile’s distance) and more are planned for 2019. More than 175 of the most popular stores and eateries can be found in the airy St. Johns Town Center, which includes Apple, The Capital Grille, Sephora, Tiffany & Co., PF Changs, Banana Republic, Louis Vuitton, and more.
